My new hero

Apparently this guy’s been terrorizing the Arizona highways for the past few months. The best part is they actually know who the guy is! Beautiful. Godspeed, Monkey-Mask Speeder.

Advice for writers

A bit of wisdom from Neil Gaiman. Glad to hear that everything else I’ve spent my time doing outside of writing actually does account for something. Now…if I could only bring the same conviction to writing that I do to milling about the world doing everything but.

Comics meet reality.

I don’t care what you say. A Prince comic is all-good in my book: http://www.comicsalliance.com/2009/08/12/nine-terrible-comics-starring-real-people-and-four-that-are-act/.

Though I do have to second the Obama comic. Enough with the Obama comics. The second someone can prove to me that his policies or actions have saved a human life, stopped an impending crisis or, at least, taught us a lesson that signifies a real change we need to make in our lives, I’ll change my tune. In the meantime, gimme Wolvie.

new day, new site, new…whatever

This is the obligatory welcome post to my new site. So you’re reading, basically…nothing. Congratulations. I’ve just taken a couple seconds of your life you can never retrieve even if you did something really productive. Not even performing heart surgery to save the life of the next patron saint of all sick, needy, malnourished, disabled children would give you back these seconds. Just know for this brief time, I owned you. Come back for more. (There’ll be so much more.)
